If you are a teenager, 14-19 years old, within driving distance of Norwalk, CT here are the details you need to know...

Ship 6 meets every Tuesday night From October to April at St Paul's Church on the Green in Norwalk (the stone church at the north end of the Green - South East Corner of East Avenue and Route 1). Meeting time is 7:00 pm.

During the Spring, Summer and Early Fall Ship 6 sails from Cove Marina on Tuesday nights at 6:30 pm. More sailing and work parties are conducted on weekends. Schedules are variable.

Prior sailing experience is not necessary, or required. Beginners are welcome!

The Cost

The cost for joining and maintaining membership in Ship 6 is quite modest. For insurance purposes, all members must register with the Boy Scouts of America. We'll give you the form and help you fill it out. The Annual Registration fee is $10. The Ship has a dues requirement of $3.00 per week. Special outing costs, certain materials and crew clothing is additional. We try to economize wherever possible.
